Somatics Training Program Housing

The Somatic Systems Institute Clinical Somatic Education™ Professional Training Program is the only residential training opportunity in Clinical Somatic Education. While on-campus living is not mandatory, those who choose to stay there during training enjoy a unique experience —– the opportunity to live amongst their fellow classmates who are all learning this new material. We have found that the more sharing, meeting, and group practicing students do, the stronger and faster their skills and connection to the work grow. Residential participation allows students to immerse themselves in this exciting experience.

Of course, nothing sustains without balance. And, with 90-95% single room living, campus housing allows students to have their space when they need it; while immediately accessing the community off SSI students and faculty when it serves them.

Other housing options abound. The Pioneer Valley's many colleges have lead to an extensive rental housing market. Summertime, when many of our programs our held, offers our students the opportunity for short-term rentals and other ideal circumstances.

We recommend checking out the local newspaper the Hampshire Gazette's classified section for available rentals in town and near campus.
