Buses running between the 5 Colleges are free and make many stops in Amherst, Northampton and South Hadley. For bus schedules visit www.pvta.com

There are also a bus stations in Amherst center and Northampton center from where students can catch buses to Boston, New York and even the airport. Students may purchase tickets for Peter Pan buses at the Hampshire College Campus Store. Check www.peterpanbus.com for schedules.

Springfield, about 30 minutes away, is the closest, most accessible, full service Amtrak station — easily accessible by bus and taxi. Check www.amtrak.com for rates and schedules.
