D.A.R. State Forest

DAR State Forest was established in 1929 when the Daughters of the American Revolution donated more than 1,000 acres to the Commonwealth. The D.A.R. has a boat launch and a private beach and is perfect for a relaxing canoe ride.

Puffers Pond

Located only a few miles from Hampshire, Puffers Pond is a great place for swimming and canoeing.

Deerfield River

Many people enjoy rafting along the Deerfield River and during the spring it is especially popular for whitewater rafting. Check out Zoar Outdoor and Crab Apple for more information.

Connecticut River

Running right through the Valley, the Connecticut River is a popular place for canoeing and kayaking.
