Professional Certification
Only certified Clinical Somatic Educators™ are authorized to practice Clinical Somatic Education™ (CSE). Certification is only granted to those individuals who both complete a legitimate authorized CSE practitioner training program and pass an examination administered by the Somatics Board of Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of Somatic Systems Institute's Clinical Somatic Education™ Professional Training Program's coursework, assignments and requirements, students will stand for their certification exam to demonstrate their competency in the material learned.
Some other trainings may require travel to the central certification facility. However, the Somatic Systems Institute's program offers examination/certification by the Clinical Somatics accreditation board right on-site at SSI's training location – all as part of the regular training semester.
Clinical Somatic Education Society
Certified practitioners automatically become Certifed Members of the Association for Clinical Somatic Education, Inc., the official professional support and public education association for the field of Clinical Somatic Education™. Certified practitioners are listed in the Society's Clinical Somatic Education Practitioner Directory, the only official listing of its kind, available in print and online.
Members are entitled to an array of benefits and support services — including public education programs, promotions, low-cost marketing materials such as brochures, as well as access to the entire CSE community and a myriad of tools for connecting with this community.
