Clinical Somatics

The Somatic Systems Institute is a national resource and educational center for the general realms of somatic education, healthcare, science, and philosophy, and for many of the specific fields and modalities somatic in nature or orientation.

We are home to the only fully trained, certified Clinical Somatic Education™ practitioners in New England. We are very proud to be able to provide access to this revolutionary (and all too scarce) form of systemic healthcare.

Somatic Systems Institute operates a team of web sites offering an online office suite of somatics information, resources, opportunities, and tools. The front door to all of our web sites can be found at somatics.org.

• The Somatics Center <somaticscenter.org> is our online resource center and reading room. You can come here to browse articles about and introductions to the many fields of somatics. Take an information tour, search our library, or explore our resources lists.
• The Soma Shop <thesomashop.org> is our online somatics general store. You can come here to buy essential but hard-to-find books and videos, self-help tapes, practitioner tools and somatics textbooks, and other resources for somatic education, health care, science, and philosophy. There are products for students, teachers, patients, practitioners, physical & psychological therapists, chiropractors, body workers, doctors, athletes and physical education teachers.

Before or after exploring our other, more general sites, come here for information on the Somatic Systems Institute's own services and projects: Read news on our work, learn about our clinic and classes schedule, make an appointment, enroll in a class, contact us for assistance.
• We also operate the Somatics WebRing , the network of somatics sites on the world wide web.

The Somatic Systems Institute does and will conduct or sponsor workshops, seminars, lectures, and classes throughout the Northeast and beyond.
