What would it mean to your company to get VA approval? Are you working toward that goal?

There are at least 3 different forms of military approval, all of which we are working on obtaining:

(1) Approval as a service and provider, so military personnel and veterans could receive Somatics treatments by Somatic Systems, and the federal government would pay for it. We have already presented and even demonstrated Somatics on important military officers, who have indicated repeatedly and emphatically that they believe Somatics is a valuable treatment for personnel and veterans, and that approval is a realistic possibility for Somatic Systems.

(2) Approval to provide services to VA hospital patients, both in the form of treatments and workshops and medical education of hospital staff. To achieve this, we are working with local VA hospitals to provide paid presentations about Somatics for these purposes, to more than 20 doctors and nurses at each presentation.

(3) Approval to provide services to the staff of VA hospitals, in several forms including Continuing Medical Education and staff healthcare workshops. For example, the VA provides regular half- and full-day workshops for staff — whose content is based on staff demand — and staff commonly request chronic pain management and stress management.
