SMA reduction limits

Why does there seem to be a limit to what can be learned during one training or practice session? IE Why is complete release not always possible for some muscles/people during one session? Is it just a matter of concentration?

All learning takes time.

All learning takes time. Even if it is something we "should" already know how to do, like make a movement, the neurological connections must be practiced until they are learned: i.e neurophysiologically created.
