Pioneer Valley Area Location

The campus and the rest of the Five College area is located less than an hour from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut; less than 2 hours from Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts; and less than 2 hours from T.F. Green Airport in Providence, Rhode Island. Convenient shuttle service and mass public transportation is available from the Airports; and Somatic Systems Institute will be offering low-cost limited Airport shuttle service for its students. Somatics Training Program Dining

Flexible meal-plans are available for the low cost of less than $30 per day. Students may choose any or all of 3 meals per day, including vegetarian entrees and other selections, served cafeteria style by a high-ranked dining service.

Somatics Training Program Student Life

The student affairs staff at SSI work with Hampshire College to maintain and promote a safe, socially active, and aware community. Through educational outreach and programs, they focus on and actively promote diversity, service, and leadership. Student affairs serves as a complement and partner to the experimenting and innovative academic program. The staff within student affairs strive to educate in innovative forms, creating ideas and living environments that encourage the development of relationships, community, and intellectual and experiential discovery beyond the classroom.
