Clinical Training Program, Class of 2011w, Semester 1

The upcoming Clinical Somatic Education Training Program class is offered at Somatic Systems Institute in Northampton, Massachusetts. This three-semester, 500-hour class will begin with a weekend schedule and end with a modular schedule. Class will meet 4 long weekends in the first semester and 2 modules per semesters 2 and 3 for nine days at a time, for a total of eight convenient modules to graduate.

For the first time since 2004, aspiring practitioners can complete their first semester training attending conveniently distributed over 4 extended weekends in a 4 month period.

The remaining two semesters will meet (for two modules each) in 2010 and 2011, for graduation in 2011, so training will occur over the course of a little less than 24 months.

This training program is designed so that anyone — regardless of prior bodywork experience — can learn this incredibly effective technique. Our students can begin practicing upon completion of the first semester-- in fact many of our students are transitioning their careers before graduating!
